Potager du bled
ECOLOGY AT THE HEART OF ES SAADI

The Potager du Bled is an anthology of organic, eco-responsible and traditional crops, faithful to the values of authenticity and preservation carried by the Bauchet-Bouhlal family. The family farm has been offering “Farm to Table” quality for over 40 years with exceptional products. Season after season, the chefs of our various restaurants sublimate with talent all the flavours of the products of our gardens.

Bordered on the periphery by cypress hedges, the property is now planted with olive orchards carefully spaced according to a precise pattern to free up space for citrus fruits, in accordance with Moroccan agricultural tradition. It is between these citrus and olive groves that fruit trees, aromatic plants and vegetable gardens cohabit.

Within the resort’s 8-hectare park, the Aromatic Garden, which covers more than 40 m², contains nearly twenty species of plants cultivated using traditional know-how, without pesticides or chemicals. Every day, these herbs are picked for the dishes, infusions and cocktails served in all the restaurants and bars of the Es Saadi Marrakech Resort.

The Potager du Bled and the Jardin Aromatique allow our Chefs to offer a true SLOW Food cuisine*.

What is the ‘Potager du Bled’ associated with Es Saadi?

The Potager du Bled is the Es Saadi’s organic farm, nestled in the Ourika Valley. Fruits and vegetables are grown there naturally, then delivered daily to the Resort. The restaurants thus benefit from fresh organic products, bringing the taste of the terroir to every plate.
