Derived from tennis and squash, padel is a racket sport played exclusively by 4 players on a rather unusual court. A padel court is just 20 meters long and 10 meters wide (35 meters long and 18 meters wide for a traditional tennis court), and enclosed by walls.
Padel rackets, known as “palas“, are also unique to this sport: stringless and pierced with holes. Initially made of wood, today they are designed in innovative, lightweight materials that multiply sensations and performance.
The balls are also different. They have a lower pressure than a tennis ball and a slightly smaller diameter. They can bounce off the court in 2 dimensions, thanks to the surrounding walls, for dynamic and surprising exchanges!
The advantage over other racket sports is simple: it’s a sport that’s accessible to all, and doesn’t require a great deal of technique to get started.
The Es Saadi is expanding its range of sports facilities with the addition of a brand-new padel court, offering both professionals and beginners alike an unforgettable playing experience and unrivalled relaxation in the heart of the resort’s gardens.
The new court will be open to all (guests, members and non-residents) upon reservation 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
These rates don’t include rackets and balls. Racket rental: 20 MAD per person.
