An exclusive exhibition to discover at the Palace Es Saadi starting May 17, 2025 – where emotion, memory, and modernity meet.
At the heart of the Palace Es Saadi, From Morocco With Love is more than just an exhibition – it’s a heartfelt tribute to Moroccan art. Curated by Elisabeth Bauchet-Bouhlal, a passionate patron of the arts and the soul of the Es Saadi Marrakech Resort, this unique exhibition traces over 60 years of artistic creation in Morocco, showcasing nearly 130 works of modern and contemporary art.
Born of a passion passed down from father to daughter and a deep commitment to Moroccan artists, this collection tells both a personal and collective story—shaped by encounters, intuition, and emotion. From Jacques Majorelle to Hassan Hajjaj, from post-independence lyrical abstraction to the bold visual language of the Casablanca School, each piece captures a defining moment in Morocco’s artistic journey.
The exhibition unfolds around key themes—spirituality, social stance, memory, body, and tradition—that deeply resonate with our times. The Jnane Elisabeth space, specially designed for the occasion, invites visitors into an immersive, sensory, and poetic experience, free from any chronological constraints.
From Morocco With Love reflects a strong commitment to sharing and passing on: to bring audiences closer to artistic creation, to show that Moroccan art engages in a global dialogue, and to remind us that behind every artwork lies a story of passion, friendship, and humanity.
